About the Role
KIC is happy to announce a new job vacancy (Manufacturing Technician). We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly skilled Manufacturing Technician to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and maintaining equipment and systems used in our manufacturing process. This position plays a key part in ensuring our innovative products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. As a Manufacturing Technician, you will work with cutting-edge technology and collaborate closely with engineers and the product development team. Your attention to detail and technical expertise will help us deliver products that drive forward the innovation sector.
Requirements
Technical certificate in manufacturing, engineering or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a workshop technician or in a similar role.
Experience with assembling, troubleshooting, and testing mechanical and electrical components.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control standards.
Proficiency with tools and equipment used in manufacturing, including soldering, wiring, and calibration equipment.
Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
Basic understanding of automated and CNC machinery.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Responsibilities
Follow detailed instructions of Engineers.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical components as needed.
Maintain tools, equipment, and workstations, ensuring they are clean and safe to use.
Work closely with engineers to identify and resolve workshop issues.
Monitor and record test results, ensuring accuracy and reporting any deviations.
Assist with the installation and calibration of equipment.
Handle inventory management by tracking materials, tools, and spare parts.
Set up and operate machinery such as welding, CNC machines, or 3D printers as required.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in all workshop activities.
